FACTION INTRODUCTION

No more believing in fake gods and carrying on the traditions of false religions. When technology reaches the point when our current knowledge no longer makes sense, the ultimate truth will be revealed and answers to all questions will be revealed. The unbearable suffering of existence will fade and Paradise will come on earth and all other planets. We pray for this day to come, and will do anything to see it within our lifetime.

We swear to accelerate technological progress whatever the cost. Anyone who slows down this progress is a heretic and must become fuel for a holy hyper-reactive engine. We are not going to stop even if we have to burn whole civilizations in the flames of this engine. Our lives have no value to us. We are ready for self-sacrifice because we know that every righteous crusader who perished in battle will be resurrected when the Singularity comes. There are no limits for the technologies which await us there, even raising the dead.

Let us fall into cryosleep and transfer our sinful bodies to a planet on the other side of the universe where a key element for achieving the Singularity awaits us. Let our gadgets and tools give us the strength to find this component before our impure competitors do. Bestow on us patience and insight to complete the research and open the gates to the Singularity.

The final battle awaits us ahead, but the stakes are too high for us to lose. Light will replace darkness in the end.

Sahara Desert, Africa

No one has seen Spiral Solaris from the ground because of the intensive light it radiates in all directions. It is seen from thousands of kilometers away, but if you look at it from closer, one glance is enough to burn your eyes to ashes. To feel the bliss of Spiral Solaris, Witnesses of the Singularity gather in underground tunnels deep beneath it. They sit around the Holy of Holies Generator receiving the stream of energy from Spiral Solaris above and wait for the Singularity to come.

On the ground above, an endless spiral of solar panels absorbs every scrap of energy falling from the sun. The spiral stretches for miles, starting from Pharaoh valley in Egypt and ending in the middle of the Sahara, the most sunny place on Earth. Enormous amounts of energy flow underground to the Holy of Holies Generator where it’s transformed into Baby Big Bang – the embryo of the new universe. When Baby Big Bang matures and finally explodes, the new universe will be born. The Witnesses will enter it as a king endowed with power to control its laws of physics and gravitation.

Instead of being impotent mammals in this universe, they will become gods in a new one. Obviously the current useless universe will be sucked dry by the new one, turning into its fuel to grow and expand.

Work on the Baby Big Bang was first produced thousands of years ago by the ancient Egyptians. They calculated the most sun-intensive place on Earth and erected the spiral of mirrors in its center. This system generated such a powerful effect, it made the Egyptians the most advanced civilization for many generations to come.

However, their technology was not advanced enough to make Baby Big Bang mature and explode, giving birth to the new universe. Gradually, Egyptian civilization declined and the origins of their discovery were forgotten.

Modern day Witnesses applied advanced machine learning to decipher hieroglyphs on the walls of pyramids to resurrect the ancient secrets. They mobilized all their resources to build the gigantic field of solar panels hoping to feed Baby Big Bang with enough energy to explode but that didn’t happen.

Modern technology was not advanced enough to trigger the birth of a new universe. So they began the construction of underground tunnels. The Witnesses swore to work relentlessly, accelerating technological progress until they reached the Singularity and could finally trigger Baby Big Bang to explode.

The tunnels under Spiral Solaris started to expand. Many new labs appeared there where the Witnesses dedicated the combined power of their neurons to push the boundaries of science forward.

Although they must achieve theoretically impossible results to produce the scientific breakthroughs needed, it doesn’t stop them from trying. Absolute faith in the upcoming Singularity fills them with unlimited energy, while the sun fills countless solar panels above.

So they began the construction of underground tunnels. The Witnesses swore to work relentlessly, accelerating technological progress until they reached the Singularity and could finally trigger Baby Big Bang to explode.

But not every Witness will be able to encounter the Singularity with his own eyes. Many of them crack along the way. Their brains become exhausted and overwhelmed by the extreme load of scientific knowledge multiplied by the heat from above. They become counterproductive, unable to think big and brightly. They become a burden for the community and have only two options.

The first is to leave the society of Witnesses and therefore never enter the new universe with them.

Needless to say, the Witnesses keep their plans secret and don’t intend to take anyone from outside with them into the new world. The second option for exhausted Witnesses is to dissolve into photons and enter the Singularity with others as a form of sunlight.

Those who choose this option must step outside the tunnels and walk towards the center of Spiral Solaris. They will be exposed to the burning desert and extreme sunlight reflecting from the solar panels. They must walk towards the center no matter what.

Shortly the light will burn their eyes, but they have to keep walking. Only when they become blind, will they be able to see the Singularity lying just beyond the limitations of reality.

If they fall dead on the way to Spiral Solaris, it means that their faith in the Singularity was not strong enough, but if they reach the center, the intensity of light will dissolve their bodies into photons. They will become light themselves and will be absorbed by Spiral Solaris to enter the new universe with the others when it finally opens.
